Dubai tourism reports: what property owners should look for
Use official tourism reports as context for your rental strategy, alongside your apartment’s own performance.

Start with the official source
Dubai’s Department of Economy and Tourism publishes tourism performance reports. Its January–August 2026 report is a useful starting point for reviewing the visitor market. Follow the original report rather than relying on unsourced market headlines.
Connect market context to your apartment
City-wide tourism figures are not a forecast for a particular holiday home. Review your building, apartment size, presentation, available dates and booking history together. At The Smart Concierge, pricing is adjusted with seasonality and market conditions in mind.
Review your own results
Use your owner portal to follow reservations and your monthly statements to review rental activity. A property-specific discussion is more useful than applying a city-wide growth figure directly to your expected income.
Keep the reporting period visible
Check both the period covered by a report and its publication date. A report about visitor arrivals describes that measure; it should not be presented as holiday-home occupancy or owner profit. When a newer report becomes available, compare consistent periods and definitions before drawing a conclusion. Avoid turning a city-wide percentage into a prediction for your building.
Ask a question the data can answer
Use market information to frame a discussion about available dates, seasonality and how your apartment is presented. Then look at the property’s own booking activity and expenses. A useful review separates what has happened from what is expected and makes the assumptions behind an estimate clear. An enquiry, a confirmed booking and the proceeds paid to an owner are different measures.
